In talks with the automotive suppliers Benteler Automobiltechnik, Hella GmbH and Mahle GmbH, it became clear that the subject of Identity Management has now been actively taken up by the management of these companies. The focus is on the software solution User Access Manager. This software solution, developed together with one of the largest automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen, contains, in version 2.0, important elements of an Identity Management System. It is a mature solution for the administration of user identities on B2B Internet portals of the car manufacturers.
The transaction of business processes, with their customers on B2B Internet Portals, requires, at the suppliers level, not only a harmonisation process of authentication and authorization with their customers, but also, and at the same time, an appropriate solution to administrate their internal users, and to connect with many of their own In-house systems and applications.
The requests of the car manufacturer, to undertake fully automatic and comprehensible business transactions with them, can currently not be met by most of the suppliers. Therefore open4business offers to the above mentioned suppliers, their know-how, and their experience with their software solution User Access Manager, in order to close the gaps between the car manufacturers and their suppliers, within the Identity Management System. The company Mahle and Hella are already evaluating the software solution offered by open4business.
